My name is Winston Orlando Anthony Antoine Jr. but most folks call me “Tony”! My love affair with Mother Nature started in Baltimore along the shores of the Chesapeake. From fishing and crabbing in Maryland to foraging and hunting in Maine, a relationship to the environment was a cultural inheritance! That gift from Caribbean ancestors is one that I maintain to this day! As a Registered Maine Fishing and Recreation Guide I hope to demystify the outdoors for novices/beginners and support those traditionally excluded from the outdoors in establishing lifelong relationships with our natural environments. I wish to be a safe space and a safe face for those that might not have given the outdoors a chance otherwise!
